About Us

A poor beginning, a faithful seventy years.

Read our full story →

This ministry began in 1954 in India with a very poor beginning — started with faith and determination to spread the good news of Jesus Christ in third-world countries and wherever there is need. The emphasis has always been the untrodden areas: the poor and needy in the villages of India.

Project Christ International, Inc. is a non-profit organization registered in the USA under IRS 501(c)(3); all donations are tax deductible. Sister organizations carry the work forward on the ground.

Where We Serve

Six ways we share the love of Christ.

From children's homes to disaster relief, every ministry is carried out in the remote, interior villages larger organizations often can't reach.

01

Orphan Care

Home, schooling, and after-school programs for children at Hope Children Home Orphanage — plus a summer Vacation Bible School for every child in the community.

02

Widow Support

Regular food, clothing, and medical care for elderly widows who have no one else to depend on.

03

Medical Camps

Free basic medicines, eyeglasses, and health education brought directly to poor villages and communities.

04

Church Planting

Leadership training, evangelism, and church construction in the interior villages larger organizations can't reach.

05

Disaster Relief

Frontline aid — food, water, clothing, shelter — for communities hit by catastrophe, as in the 2005 South India tsunami.

06

Literacy & Education

Basic instruction and home-schooling support that gives children in remote villages a path forward.

Our Faith

What we believe.

Read our full statement of faith →

We base our faith on the biblical truth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our heavenly Father manifested in human form. We believe in the triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Christ suffered, bled, and died to remove our sins — the free gift of salvation, received by believing in him. We believe it is our duty to show that same undeserved love to the world.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

The Orphans

Every child deserves a home, a school, and someone praying for them.

“Thanks to your help, these children have a home.”

Through Hope Children Home Orphanage, sponsors provide education, clothing, and a stable home to children who would otherwise have none — alongside vacation Bible school each summer for every child in the surrounding community.
